Kerri

Adoption Status: Pending

Kerri is available as a foster to adopt

Gender: Female
Breed: Pomeranian & Mini Poodle Mix
Age: Est DOB: 01/2025
Weight: TBA
Dog Friendly: Yes
Cat Friendly: Unknown
Kid Friendly: Unknown
House Trained: Doing great!

History: Kerri is a beautiful girl who arrived to rescue recently and immediately warmed our hearts. She is officially ready to start her journey in finding her forever home and hopes to find them soon!

A Note from the Foster: Kerri is an 8-month-old Pomapoo with a heart as tiny and sweet as her paws. We lovingly call her Ker-Bear, and she’s quickly becoming the queen of cuddles in her foster home. If there’s a lap available, she’s on it—snuggling in like she was born to be there.

She’s currently the only dog in the house, but we think she’d absolutely thrive with a mentor pup to help her build confidence and show her the ropes. Ker-Bear sleeps soundly in her kennel at night, barely making a peep and keeps her kennel dry, and she’s making great progress with leash and potty training.

Every day, she blossoms a little more—revealing a playful, spunky side that’s impossible not to love. She’s still learning that the world is a safe and happy place, so a patient adopter will help her continue to grow into the joyful companion she’s meant to be.

Kerri  is ready to find her forever lap—and maybe a furry sibling to share it with.

Adoption Fee: Our adoption fees typically vary from $500-$1250 + tax. Our coordinator will be in touch with you with specific information during the application processing. For more information on where our animals come from, here is some additional information. Thank you!

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
