History: Juliette is a beautiful girl who needed a second chance at a good life. She quickly wriggled her way into our hearts with how sweet and loving she is and she would make a great addition to a lucky home of her own soon!
A Note from the Foster: Juliette is a petite little girl with the sweetest personality. She is quiet and a little shy now but we get small peeks at a sassier girl waiting to come out. For now, she is content to cuddle in her dog bed, follow her foster mom around the house and sleep on the couch next to a person during TV time in the evening.
Although she keeps her crate clean overnight and during the day, she’s not fully potty trained yet. We have a fenced yard and have not had her on a leash. She is a climber, so supervised time outside is a must and she cannot be left in a pen or she will climb out (and onto the countertop as we found out by mistake!).
Juliette is timid and defensive around new dogs but is slowly getting used to the four dogs in her foster home. She has not been around cats or small children yet. She would probably do just fine around respectful children who allow her some space.
Adoption Fee: $760 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
