History: Our Out of the Cold Rescue Effort was a great success in welcoming over 180+ animals to rescue from rural areas in North Dakota before the cold set in. These animals are all so deserving and thankful to get a second chance in finding a forever home of their own!
A Note from the Foster: Hello, my name is Jeager Clade! I'm named after the world-famous famous Explorer from Strange World! Boy does the name fit me! I love to explore my yard and all the nooks and crannies around the house. I would do best with a fenced in yard because when I'm exploring I never know where I'm going to end up! I am a medium to high energy puppy! I love to wrestle and cuddle! I will beg to come up and chill in your lap when I am done playing! I have no interest in toys of any kind including chew toys. I would much rather wrestle you or another dog! I currently live with a lot of other dogs and they are great to cuddle and play with! I have not meet any kids yet but I am sure I would love them!
Training has been fun because it means I get treats! I am super treat motivated so my foster say training will be a breeze for me! Potty training is going well and I keep my area clean throughout the day and night. I have a doggie door and I will use it anytime to go out and potty, although at night I prefer a big dog or human to be outside with me! I love to chew on everything but have been doing well when redirected to someone to play with. Kennel training has been going great I tend to eat my treat and take nap. Unless I have a lot of energy then I get a little upset that I'm not allowed to play. I am not a fan of leashes at all. If I'm put on one, I will just sit there and cry. This is another reason I would like a fenced in yard!

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful!
