History: Isla is a beautiful little girl who arrived to rescue recently and immediately warmed our hearts. She is officially ready to start her journey in finding her forever home and hopes to find them soon!
A Note from the Foster: Are you searching for an easy going sweetheart?
Isla is such a happy camper. She has not had an accident in the house yet but she is new to us so keeping on a schedule is important however she does seem to know she's supposed to go potty outside. She's super sweet and happy go lucky! There isn't anything that seems to have phased her. She met the cats and was happy to give them kisses. She met all the dogs and is a very happy girl around all sizes and ages. She really loves people. She's a shadow dog for sure. She also loves on the kiddos no problem. She is not afraid of them being loud or jumpy and is very gentle. She'll be a quality family dog. She's a small dog so she's an easy walker on a leash. She just prances around like a princess which is fitting. She really is a little lover full of kisses and cuddles. She will bark to alert you if she hears some suspicious business but is pretty quiet on a normal day around the house. She has escaped a kennel and will come out to greet you so proud of herself. She's not strong enough to break out by any means but smart enough to stick her little paw out and flip the metal latch but I added a tiny carabiner and that stopped that. She does just fine in the kennel besides her initial escape attempts. She stays quiet and dry overnight while everyone sleeps. She's all around a really great dog and will make her forever family very happy.
Adoption Fee: $750 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
