Isaac

Adoption Status: Accepting Adoption Interest

Gender: Male
Breed: Maltese
Age: Est DOB: 04/2021
Weight: 14 lbs
Dog Friendly: Yes- would do best w/ another dog
Cat Friendly: Unknown
Kid Friendly: Unknown
House Trained: Doing great!

History: Isaac is a super handsome boy who was recently welcomed to rescue and will warm your heart with his smile and happy personality. He has his paws crossed to find his forever home soon!

Isaac is deaf but does well despite this!

A Note from the Foster: Meet Isaac: 14 lbs of Pure Fun! 🐾

Don’t let my tiny size fool you—I’ve got a big personality! I may be deaf, but I make up for it with a heart full of love, boundless energy, and yes… a lot of barking (I take my job as the neighborhood announcer very seriously). Playing is my favorite thing in the world (seriously… PLAY!!!! 🎾) and I’m always ready for a game. Treats? Yes, please! My eyes light up at the very sight of them.

I’m a pro at doing my business outside when kept on schedule, and I sleep soundly in my crate all night (and keep it nice and clean). A fenced yard would be my dream so I can run and explore safely. Chew toys are my jam, and if you’re looking for a constant, loving shadow, I’m your pup. I’d also love a playful dog buddy in my new home to join in all the fun! 🐶💞

If you’ve got energy, toys, snacks, maybe another furry playmate—and don’t mind my vocal side—we might just be a perfect match! 💕

Adoption Fee: $510 + tax

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
