History: Goulash is a super sweet boy who arrived to rescue in desperate need of a second chance. He is such a handsome and striking boy who is ready to meet his forever home soon!
A Note from the Foster: Goulash is still figuring out that the world can be a safe and happy place. At first everything was overwhelming—he was too nervous to eat and barely felt comfortable going to the bathroom.
Little by little he’s been coming out of his shell. Each day he grows a bit braver, a bit more curious, and a bit more trusting. Now he’ll come up to us on his own, asking for affection and connection, which feels like a huge milestone for him.
One of the best glimpses of his personality shows when he’s outside. Goulash absolutely loves his freedom—give him some open space and he transforms. Watching him run through the park, hopping through the tall grass like a tiny deer, you can see his joy take over. In those moments, he’s not the scared pup from day one—he’s playful, light, and full of life.
He still has some growing to do, but his progress has been incredible. With a little patience, love, and consistency, Goulash is showing us more and more each day just how special he is.
Adoption Fee: Our adoption fees typically vary from $510-$1260 + tax. Our coordinator will be in touch with you with specific information during the application processing. For more information on where our animals come from, here is some additional information. Thank you!
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
