Gator

Adoption Status: Accepting Adoption Interest

Gender: Male
Breed: French Bulldog
Age: Est DOB: 11/2021
Weight: TBA
Dog Friendly: Yes
Cat Friendly: Likely not
Kid Friendly: Unknown
House Trained: Doing great!

History: Gator is a super sweet boy who arrived to rescue in desperate need of a second chance. He is such a handsome and striking boy who is ready to meet his forever home soon!

A Note from the Foster: Meet Gator 🐾

Hi there! I’m Gator — or “Mator” if you’re a Cars fan like my foster mom. She also calls me “Good Boy,” and honestly… she’s right!

I’m a handsome Frenchie with one blue eye and one brown — pretty cool, huh? I love people and want nothing more than to be by your side. My foster family says I’m affectionate, crazy smart, and easy to please. I adore hugs from my foster dad, treats (yum!), and being told I’m a good boy.

I get along great with big dogs, but prefer not to share space with cats or smaller pups. I’m working on sharing my toys (hands off my fish for now 😉), and I eat best in my kennel — it’s my cozy spot.

I’m working on my potty training, walking nicely on a leash, and doing pretty well in a kennel as long as I know you’re nearby. My favorite things? Snuggling on the couch, hanging out while my foster mom works, playing in the yard, all stuff animals, and going for walks.

I haven’t met little kids yet, but I’m great with teens and adults of all kinds. I’m calm, loving, and happiest when I’m close to my people.

If you’re looking for a loyal, snuggly companion who’ll make you laugh and fill your days with love — I’m your guy!

Adoption Fee: $760 + tax

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
