Fry

Adoption Status: Pending

Gender: Male
Breed: Toy Poodle
Age: Est DOB: 05/2025
Dog Friendly: Yes
Cat Friendly: Likely due to young age
Kid Friendly: Yes
House Trained: Doing great!

History: Fry is a handsome little fella who arrived to rescue recently and immediately warmed our hearts. He is officially ready to start his journey in finding his forever home and hopes to find them soon!

A Note from the Foster: Hi, I’m Fry! I’m a petite 8 pound 4 month old poodle who loves to be held, give kisses, snuggle and play!

I really love toys and playing with my fellow foster sibling puppy, but I can also be very calm and independent. When my foster family is busy, I am happy to just lay by there feet. In fact I really just want to be near you, even if it’s just in the same room.

My foster family says I am super smart, I know how to do stairs and am starting leash training and so far it has been going well.

Potty training has been going great! I am consistently going potty when taken outside and going potty on walks. However, due to my young age, I still have accidents in the home. Also due to my young age, I will greatly benefit from a basic obedience course. In fact, this is required for all dogs younger than 2 years old.

Crate training has also been going well. As long as I can see you, I sleep through the night without a peep! I keep my crate neat and have no accidents in it! However during the day, if I am crated and can’t see you or am left alone, I do bark - so shared walls might not be for me!

My foster family says I’m what they like to call a “Velcro dog”. I love to follow my foster family around the house and am always ready for snuggles! I love to give kisses on your hands and face and enjoy belly rubs.

When I’m not waiting for snuggles or pets, I’m very adventurous and busy exploring the world around me. There’s so many new sights and sounds for me to take in! While sometimes I am a bit skittish and nervous about being picked up, my foster family says I am growing in confidence every day!

Because I’m a poodle, I will require grooming every 4-8 weeks to keep my curly hair nice and fresh looking!

I can’t wait to find my furever home and share my love with my new family! Could it be you?!

Adoption Fee: Our adoption fees typically vary from $510-$1260 + tax. Our coordinator will be in touch with you with specific information during the application processing. For more information on where our animals come from, here is some additional information. Thank you!

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
