A Note from the Foster: Hi everyone, it’s me Fremont!
I am 16 weeks adorable, weighing in at 22 lbs. I am a stunning big pup! I have beautiful coloring, with small tan spots on my coat that will probably come out as I grow.
I arrived here in Wisconsin after a long bus ride from North Dakota. My foster mommy scooped me and my sister up right away so we could get settled in at home.
I was very nervous and timid when I first arrived.
My family is amazed at my transformation over the weeks. Although I can be shy at moments, I am very sweet and gentle. My foster family is smitten with me.
I really love my sibling and other puppy’s here; we like to roll around and chase each other.
Potty time…. I finally have that down when you learn my adorable cues. I rest in my kennel, and I do not fuss.
My mommy works from home, and I prefer to be her shadow all day if possible.
I am very interested in belly scratches and snuggles!! I get to cuddle with foster mommy on the big bed in the evening. That is my favorite time!
I love food and treats which will come in handy for my training.
I will be the BEST doggie for a family that has patience and love.
I hope to meet you very soon furever!!
Love,
Fremont

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
