History: Freckles is a beautiful girl who needed a second chance at a good life. She quickly wriggled her way into our hearts with how sweet and loving she is and she would make a great addition to a lucky home of her own soon!

A Note from the Foster: Freckles is ready for her retirement gig! 🌴☀️

This little lady is beyond sweet and friendly! After seven years in the commercial breeding world, Freckles hit the jackpot and was able to come to rescue- a ticket out of the cycle! She is ready to put her past behind her and find a loving forever family for her retirement years. Despite her past, Freckles is a curious, friendly, tail wagging little hunny! She loves cuddles, butt scratches, a warm blanket, yummy food, comfy bed, soaking up all the things she never really had. She's learning to do her business outside and sleeps peacefully in her crate at night. She enjoys the company of other dogs, and humans. Freckles has met young kiddos and enjoys their affection when they are calm and gentle with her! She is very happy and jolly! 

Freckles is just waiting on her spay appointment (yay no more babies for this momma) and is otherwise healthy and ready for the next chapter of her life! Onward and upward!! Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful!
