Fondue

Adoption Status: Pending

Gender: Male
Breed: French Bulldog
Age: Est DOB: 01/2025
Weight: 19 lbs
Dog Friendly: Yes
Cat Friendly: Unknown
Kid Friendly: Unknown
House Trained: Doing great!

History: Fondue is a handsome little fella who arrived to rescue recently and immediately warmed our hearts. He is officially ready to start his journey in finding his forever home and hopes to find them soon!

A Note from the Foster: Hi! My name is Fondue (aka Piglet!) My foster family calls me Piglet because of my cute little pink ears and my snorts and squeals that sound just like a little piglet! I don't squeal a lot - only when I have crazy puppy dreams that wake me up from a dead sleep! My squeal get everyone in the house laughing! As for barking - nope! Only do that once a day. That is when my foster daddy comes home. And that is just because I missed him and can't wait for my tummy time/rubs! My foster brother, also a Frenchie, has taught me so much in a very short period of time! My foster mom says it is because I am so smart, but he has helped a lot! I learned how to use all the stairs in the house in less than 2 days and I know that we potty outside. I have had only a couple of small accidents in the house. I am getting really good at sitting to get treats when I come inside after going potty and even working on waiting my turn!

What do I love? Everyone! I haven't met a person, big or small that I haven't wanted pets and cuddles from. Toys! All of them! And I am super great at sharing with my foster brother. We play tug-of-war, chase sticks (I like the big ones), and chase each other everywhere. Treats! But who doesn't! Right!

What am I still working on - my kennel. I do not like it there. I will stay there for a bit if I have to. But I have a really hard time sleeping there by myself. I think I am afraid of the dark. I really need to be with my people at night. And sometimes I might confuse a shoe or a cord for a toy, but I am learning super quick! My foster mom says I am the best puppy and a true Frenchie! I can zoomie like you wouldn't believe! If you are missing your best friend, total snuggle bug, and eyes that will melt your heart with every look, I'm here for you!

Adoption Fee: Our adoption fees typically vary from $510-$1260 + tax. Our coordinator will be in touch with you with specific information during the application processing. For more information on where our animals come from, here is some additional information. Thank you!

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
