Dino

Adoption Status: Pending

Gender: Male
Breed: Corgi
Age: Est DOB: 11/2020
Weight: 25 lbs
Dog Friendly: Yes
Cat Friendly: Unknown
Kid Friendly: Unknown
House Trained: Doing great!

History: Dino is a super sweet boy who arrived to rescue in desperate need of a second chance. He is such a handsome and striking boy who is ready to meet his forever home soon!

A Note from the Foster: Dino is all corgi! He is smart, happy, active, silly, and so sweet. His foster mom says he has a “bunny tail” because of how quickly the little nub goes back and forth when he’s happy - which happens to be all the time. He is truly a joyful dog.

This gorgeous boy spent his years in a breeder program and is loving life on the “outside” in his foster home. He spends his days playing with his resident corgis. Dino is a typical loud and zoomie corgi when playing and wrestling. He does respect his corgi pals with toys and space - he is also good at reading social queues from them.

Dino is excited to follow his foster parents around the house and be a part of anything that is happening. He is more brave than typical breeder release pups but still has some caution when exploring new things.

He is currently working on potty training and as he is understanding his routine more, he is getting better. Dino is all boy and currently marks as he hasn’t been neutered yet. This means he currently wears his belly band while indoors. Typically this behavior will discontinue after neutering.

Dino eats well but isn’t very motivated by treats or bones at this time. He would much rather explore and sniff than lay down with a chewer. Although he is very active, he is starting to love snuggling with his foster mom. He had no idea how relaxing it can be to nap and be pet while laying with her and he’s doing it more and more.

At night, Dino finds peace in his kennel in a quiet place. He sleeps through the night and keeps his kennel clean.

He is going to make the best addition to any lucky family and is looking forward to the good life. Let us know if Dino seems like the perfect match for your home. 🐾

Adoption Fee: $760 + tax

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
