History: 🧡 From Texas to Midwest 🤠—- A group of deserving dogs was recently welcomed as part of our Texas Transport Program! A program launched to make an impactful difference for our partner shelters in Texas facing the overpopulation of animals with limited resources and low adoption rates. We are excited to help these southern gems find loving forever homes to call their own!
A Note from the Foster: Hi everyone! I’m Debby — a sweet, smart young girl with so much love to give. I adore people and do my very best to show it every chance I get. I also love other dogs and have a great time running around and playing with my foster brothers. I may be from Texas, but I discovered I'm a big fan of all this white fluffy stuff on the ground up here. I love to hop through it, and my foster family says my little snow-bounces are absolutely adorable!
I’m still young, so I’m learning a few manners (like not jumping up on people or counter surfing), but I already know sit, shake, lay down, and I go right into my kennel when asked. I do well in my crate, but I’d much rather snuggle up with my humans on the couch or in bed. I also enjoy collecting toys, and sometimes a shoe or two, by gathering them in “my spot” on the couch.
Even though I have plenty of playful energy, I’m also a big fan of relaxing and soaking up some good pets or cuddling for a nap. Play hard, nap hard is my motto.
If I sound like your kind of girl, please fill out an application to meet me! I can’t wait to give all my love to my forever family.
Adoption Fee: $560 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
