A Note from the Foster: Hi there! My name is Butters and I was running through the streets as a stray before some kind humans picked me up. I’ve been settling into a warm home with comfy beds, fresh water, yummy food, and loving snuggles. It’s the best! There really isn’t anything I don’t like so far. I love other doggie friends, meeting new people, toys, breweries, and of course food. I don't totally have potty training down perfectly yet but I am trying my best! I know to go potty outside but sometimes I have some more in the tank. I think my foster mom is learning my cues and schedule for when to go outside and I'll continue improving!
I ride great in the car, I am doing great at kennel training, and I walk on the leash well! I like to check in on my foster mom while we are walking to make sure I’m doing the right things. I am not a super mouthy or jumpy puppy. I am pretty good at keeping myself occupied with toys and chews when my humans are busy. I sleep in the crate quietly but I'd love to join you at the foot of your bed too, if that is allowed. I love to play with my foster brother and sister but I am not needing constant playtime.
I have really expressive, bouncy ears that my foster mom thinks are the cutest. My tail is almost always wagging. I think I’d do great in almost any home and on almost any adventure! I haven't been around kids or cats yet but I don't think I'd have a problem with either of them. My foster mom thinks I'd make a great family dog! I am a very sweet and gentle boy. I’d love to meet you and show you all the amazing qualities that I have to offer 💛
Adoption Fee: $760 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
