Baobab

Adoption Status: Pending

Gender: Male
Breed: Shih Tzu
Age: DOB: 04/06/2025
Weight: 3.7 lbs of at 6 weeks old
Dog Friendly: Yes
Cat Friendly: Yes
Kid Friendly: Likely due to young age
House Trained: Too Young!

History: I am Arden’s pup and was born in rescue!

Arden is a beautiful little girl who arrived to rescue and SURPRISE, was expecting a litter of pups. She has been a wonderful momma dog and now her and her puppies are officially ready to begin accepting adoption interest!

A Note from the Foster: Brave, bold, Baobab is looking for his forever family! Baobab is the softest, fluffiest, funniest little guy on paws! He is always the first to try new toys, whether they're for chewing, for chasing, or holding.  He is happiest when he is out in front exploring his world.  Baobab would love a home where he can be part of the action!  He loves his 80-pound mastiff foster sister and is fascinated by his foster cats.  Like all puppies,  Baobab will need training to be his best self, but since he's such a curious soul, going to obedience classes with him is sure to be fun!

Adoption Fee: Our adoption fees typically vary from $500-$1250 + tax. Our coordinator will be in touch with you with specific information during the application processing. For more information on where our animals come from, here is some additional information. Thank you!

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
